My review of Thumbsucker was already running long, so I decided the break up the post. Part two will focus on the reviews of the film. If you haven’t seen Thumbsucker yet, I highly recommend you seek it out. The movie is well worth watching whether suffer from thumb-sucking, social anxiety, or anything else. Or if you just like good movies.
My first introduction to screenplays was through my college screenwriting class. My professor was helpful in teaching me the basics like three-act structure, and I applied it by writing two short films. A college education is naturally quite expensive, but it wasn’t until a couple of years after college that I really learned how to write feature length movies.
